There are 3 main costs when you sell your home. The Listing Fee, The Buyer's Agent Fee, and a bunch of things that get grouped such as Taxes, Transfer Fee, Owner's Policy, Utilities etc.
Previously, when I explained these costs to homeowners I usually talked in percentages.
Totaling roughly 10% of the sales price of the home. It usually was lower than 10% but this is a good number for easy math and clear understanding.
